In regards to her goals and reason for doing this blog, Sue writes:

In the last few years i have experienced a lot of challenges, testing and trouble. The Lord has been faithful through it all to give me what I need at the time to get through it. One message I keep hearing, is that testing and trouble come to make us stronger, so that we can share with others what the Lord has taught us. Friends have encouraged me to write about my experiences and share what the Lord has been teaching me.

Early in my Christian growth I was taught the Attributes (Character) of God. Learning what the Bible says about God’s character provided a strong foundation for my faith. The very first Ladies small group study I attended during Jim’s seminary years was “Behold Your God” by Myrna Alexandra. When I began to lead a Ladies Bible Study myself I used that same study book.

However when Jim and I accepted the call to plant The Carpenter’s Church in Nazareth, I realized I needed a simpler study on the Attributes of God. I wrote and taught a study, I called, “What is God Really Like.” I have sensed for some time that the Lord is calling me to go back and refine this study and somehow share is with more people. I friend kindly offered to set up this blog, which seems like a really great way to easily reach many people. I encourage you to share the blog with your friends too.
